For 90+ years, the Milford Area Chamber has been the voice of business and the visionary organization in Milford. We represent hundreds of businesses of all sizes and all industries in Bellingham, Franklin, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Medway, Mendon, Milford, Millis, and Upton. The Chamber’s activities are overseen by our chamber officers, and chamber Directors, which are made up of the Milford Area’s top business leaders.
With our staff of just three employees, we support our members and the business community through economic and community development, government relations, education, and workforce development initiatives. They offer a variety of services so please feel free to contact them with any questions you might have.
Our board members are from a wide variety of business. We meet monthly to address issues and to develop policies and programs to enhance business and personal opportunities. Some of those opportunities include our annual Home and Business Expo, Business After Hours events, Annual Golf Tournament, the Small Business Development Center, and our MACC Match @ 12 lunchtime to name a few.
I am excited about the progress we have seen in the Milford Area and about the potential we have. The things that we often take for granted are highly sought-after and considered prime assets by those who live and work in Greater Boston. Our beautiful scenery, natural resources, friendly residents and laid-back lifestyle are assets that we can capitalize on. Milford is located just 40 miles from Boston where millions of people who love to visit areas like ours when they learn what we have to offer. Business and small industry leaders are looking to locate, or relocate, in our area due to our lower cost and business friendly environment.
The chamber works very closely with the Milford Area elected officials. They are always willing to assist and provide resources and personnel for many beneficial programs for our citizens and business community.
We are so fortunate to live and work in such a growing, healthy and beautiful place that we want to make it an even better place to live, work and shop. Let us know how we can help you with your business or life.
